STAMPS.COM NAMED TO FORBES MAGAZINE’S LIST OF AMERICA’S BEST SMALL COMPANIES

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – October 15, 2013 – Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the leading provider of USPS postage online and shipping software to over 450,000 customers, today announced that it was named to Forbes magazine’s “America’s Best Small Companies” list for 2013. Ranked #32 on this prestigious list of 100 companies, Stamps.com has been a leader in transforming the world of mailing and shipping for small business owners, e-commerce sellers and enterprise organizations alike.

Forbes’ annual list of the 100 best small companies in America highlights organizations with the strongest growth amongst all industries. Candidates must be publicly traded for at least a year, generate annual revenue between $5 million and $1 billion and have a minimum stock price of $5 a share. The rankings are based on three factors: earnings growth, sales growth and return on equity in the past 12 months and over five years.

“We’re thrilled to be named by Forbes as one of the best small companies in America,” said Stamps.com Chairman and CEO Ken McBride. “We wouldn’t have achieved this level of success without the hard work of all of our employees who built Stamps.com into the best mailing and shipping software on the market.”
