Stamps.com Launches PhotoStamps for Business
LOS ANGELES May 17, 2006 Stamps.com® (Nasdaq: STMP), the leading provider of Internet-based postage services, today announced that it has launched PhotoStamps® for Business, a new feature that will allow businesses to use PhotoStamps to create awareness for their products or services, to build their brand, or for other commercial applications. Stamps.com also announced today the start of the third phase of the market test for PhotoStamps, with an initial authorization for one year through May 16, 2007 and an option for the Postal Service to extend the test for a second year.
“We are excited to offer businesses a new way to create awareness for their products and services, and to build their brand by including their logos and images on business mailings,” said Ken McBride, Stamps.com President and CEO. “Our consumer-oriented PhotoStamps service has been a tremendous success, and this is a logical extension of this popular product. We think PhotoStamps for Business will have broad applications from small businesses all the way up to large corporate mailers.”
In addition to the current sheet format, PhotoStamps are now also available in a roll form factor for use in higher volume applications. Individual rolls are available in custom lengths ranging from 250 to 10,000 PhotoStamps, and in denominations ranging from $0.24 for postcard rates to $4.05 for 1 lb packages.
