STAMPS.COM CHIEF LEGAL OFFICER SETH WEISBERG WINS LOS ANGELES BUSINESS JOURNAL CORPORATE COUNSEL AWARD
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – October 22, 2013 – Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the leading provider of USPS postage online and shipping software to over 450,000 customers, today announced that its Chief Legal Officer, Seth Weisberg, won the Los Angeles Business Journal Corporate Counsel Award in the “Public Company (2012 Revenue Less Than $1 Billion)” category.
The annual award recognizes the important role that in-house counsel plays in the success of a company, and recognizes the accomplishments of top in-house attorneys within the Los Angeles business community. Candidates were chosen based on their legal skills and achievements, leadership and ethical standards and contributions to the Los Angeles community.

As Stamps.com’s Chief Legal Officer, Weisberg manages all legal matters pertaining to intellectual property law, administrative law, securities law, corporate law and postal regulatory and government affairs. During his tenure at Stamps.com, he has spearheaded the resolution of over a dozen intellectual property lawsuits, helped pursue the development of innovative products and developed an alternative fee structure for outsourced legal counsel.
Weisberg holds a law degree from Columbia Law School, a master’s degree in history from Harvard University, a bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy from Harvard University and a general course certificate from the London School of Economics.
