STAMPS.COM RELEASES NEW USPS® PRIORITY MAIL® RATE GUIDE
LOS ANGELES – March 21, 2012 – Stamps.com® (Nasdaq:STMP), the leading provider of USPS postage online and shipping software to over 400,000 customers, today released the USPS Priority Mail Rate Guide. The free guide shows Priority Mail costs in all eight USPS shipping zones for packages that weigh up to 70 pounds, giving small business owners and e-commerce sellers the ability to easily compare shipping rates.
The Priority Mail Rate Guide helps solve many of the pricing complexities that surfaced as a result of the USPS’ introduction of new Priority Mail options in recent years. This includes last year’s introduction of Priority Mail Regional Rate Boxes, which offered customers a regional solution for packages requiring fast delivery over short distances. Regional Rate Boxes became the third option included in the popular Priority Mail service, joining regular Priority Mail and Priority Mail Flat Rate options. Consequently, identifying the most cost-effective option can be a challenge.
Using an easy-to-use table with prices listed from lowest to highest by weight and zone, the Priority Mail Rate Guide can help shippers view all Priority Mail box options and rates at a glance and identify opportunities for greater cost savings.
“To select the most cost-effective USPS Priority Mail box, shippers have to consider three different pricing structures,” said Chairman and CEO Ken McBride. “We introduced the USPS Priority Mail Rate Guide to remove the complexity and provide a simple tool that allows shippers to quickly identify cost savings.”
