STAMPS.COM PUBLIC OFFERING DECLARED EFFECTIVE

 

SANTA MONICA, Calif. – December 7, 1999 – Stamps.com™ (Nasdaq: STMP) today announced that its public offering was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission for the sale of five million shares of Stamps.com common stock.

The company expects the shares, all of which are being offered by Stamps.com, will be delivered to the underwriters on December 10, 1999. Stamps.com has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 750,000 additional shares of common stock to cover any over-allotments.

The offering was managed by Goldman, Sachs & Co., Salomon Smith Barney Inc., BancBoston Robertson Stephens Inc., Thomas Weisel Partners LLC and Volpe Brown Whelan & Company, LLC.
