You can purchase a variety of Special Services using the Stamps.com service. To purchase these services, in the Stamps.com software, click the Print Postage screen, then the Special Services button. Please note that after you purchase the service, you must complete and attach the appropriate form to your mail piece. The forms are available for free at your local Post Office™. Delivery Confirmation™ Allows you to confirm the date and time of delivery. Signature Confirmation™ Verifies delivery and requires a signature from the recipient. Certified Mail™ Requires the mail carrier to obtain a signature from the recipient of your delivery. Insured Mail Provides coverage for lost or damaged articles. Registered Mail™ Provides the maximum protection and security for valuables. Return Receipt Provides evidence that your package or flat was delivered. Return Receipt for Merchandise Provides receipts for both the mailing and delivery of your package. Restricted Delivery Requires a written signature from the recipient you specify. Collect on Delivery (COD) Allows merchandise and postage to be paid upon delivery.
